Albania won the friendly against Uzbekistan on Wednesday evening, posting their four consecutive win with score 1-0 on as many matches played. hamdi Salihi scored the wining goal on the 14-th minute, to give Albania the lead for good. "Black Eagles" had many opportunities during the match, but fail to score as both strikers Bogdani-Salihi missed all the chances they had prior and after the only goal scored.
This was the first match between both countries and it was the fifth consecutive game on which Albania had no goal scored against them, as defense continues to improve and show signs of stability. Also, it was the first match, played under lights on the Stadium "Niko Dovana" in Durres.
It was the last match for Albania prior to the Euro 2012 qualifiers. Kuze's team will open their campaign on September 3-rd in Romania, to follow with home opener against Luxembourg on September 7-th.
